NATURAL STEM VASE

• Made of natural Kisii Soapstone
• 5 ¼ inches tall, 3 inches wide close to the base
• For decorative use only with dried flowers or botanicals, not intended to hold water
• Because it is natural stone, colors of vases may vary slightly

Handmade under fair-trade conditions in Kenya. After mining and hauling the stone to the workshop, carvers saw stone into smaller pieces. They hack the rock into the shape of the piece it is to become using machetes. Then they chisel in more definition and sand it smooth.
