August 20th Sample Saturday to feature Peri-Peri Sauce

Sample tastings of Peri-Peri Sauce will be offered at The Work of Our Hands on Sample Saturday, August 20, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

A hot and tangy chili sauce, Peri-Peri is great on poultry, seafood, and any item to which you’d like to add a little kick.

Peri-Peri is a traditional African sauce. In Swahili, its name means pepper-pepper. Doubling of the word means it is extra hot.

Our Peri-Peri Sauce is made in eSwatini, a small, landlocked country east of South Africa. Our supplier works in eSwatini with many grandmothers who are raising children orphaned by AIDS. Chilies for Peri-Peri can be grown in home gardens, allowing farmers to supply chilies and simultaneously care for their children or grandchildren.

Stop in on August 20 to sample our Peri-Peri sauce. Be prepared for a little kick!
