Parrots, roosters, bald eagles, and more hang quietly from the ceiling at The Work of Our Hands.
That is, until their attached string is pulled.
Then they take flight. They are perfectly balanced for graceful movement!
We are so excited to now carry a collection of beautiful hand-painted mobiles in a wide range of sizes. The mobiles are 100% handmade in small batches by Colombian artisans, most of whom are indigenous or Afro-Colombians. They are imported to the United States under fair trade conditions by a daughter of Colombian immigrants.
The next time you enter The Work of Our Hands, look toward the ceiling, select one of the mobiles, and ask us to demonstrate it for you.
