July Sample Saturday Features Sauces

Safari Barbeque Sauce and Zulu Fire Sauce are the products featured at The Work of Our Hands Sample Saturday on July 16 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Safari Barbecue Sauce has a tangy, fruity, spicy flavor great for pork, chicken, and vegetables. Zulu Fire Sauce has a little heat and is appropriate for marinating meat.

Both sauces were made in South Africa, the country on the southernmost tip of the African continent.  South Africa is still working to undo the inequality resulting from decades of apartheid. Seventeen percent of its population is below the poverty line. Turqle Trading, which supplies the sauces, is making a difference in South Africa through creating jobs, education, and exporting foods whose production earnings stay in South Africa.
