Summer Passport Adventure 2026

The Work of Our Hands is offering prizes to kids ages 3-14 for completing cross-cultural activities during the months of June and July with their Summer Passport Adventure Program.

The program allows flexibility. Complete tasks that interest you - but do try different types of experiences. The goal is for children to learn about places around the world and explore cultures different than their own.

Some activity examples include:

• Visit The Work of Our Hands
• Read a book about another culture
• Cook a new food or eat at an international restaurant
• Watch a video about a country you have never visited
• Learn words or phrases from another language
• Listen to music from another country
• Learn a dance or game from another country
• Visit an art or cultural museum
• Attend an international festival
• Try one of the artforms of our artisans

Complete 10 tasks and pick a prize.

Complete 20 tasks and be entered to win a stuffed alpaca-7" llama.

The deadline to complete tasks and collect prizes is Friday, July 31, 2026, at 5 PM. Prizes can be redeemed at The Work of Our Hands, 627 Franklin Street, Pella. For more information call 641-628-8687.
