• Because it is natural stone, some color variations should be expected. One can often see shades of cream, gray, pink, and brown in the design.
• Product has gone through multiple stages of sanding and waxing, giving it a satiny finish
• Handmade in Kenya

Hand carved from a single piece of Kisii soapstone, found only southwestern Kenya. Mining the soapstone is a labor-intensive process. Laborers work with shovels, picks, axes and machetes to carve out large soapstone chunks, which are then shaped into beautiful art.
